A North Carolina man had an unexpected close encounter with a bear while lounging outside his home on April 11. Home security footage shows David Oppenheimer and the bear locking eye contact from just a few feet away. The bear ultimately went on its way without further incident.
‘Chillaxing at the end of the day, didn’t expect to make eye contact so close,’ Oppenheimer wrote on Facebook. ‘Good thing we’re already acquainted.’
