A follow up to the demonstration of how we can continue to grow khodu when the weather starts to turn cold by using plastic bags to protect them.
Harvesting Bangla Khodu aka Bottle Gourds growing in our permaculture garden uk, we grow bangla khodu every year and normally each bangla khodu plant produces at least 4/5 good sized khodu. Picking bangla khodu when they are tender ensures the best tasting khodu sometime called bangla pumpkin
