About Mr Bob Chatterjee:
Mr Bob Chatterjee is a full time Consultant Spinal Surgeon practising in London.
He qualified from Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital, London, before undertaking surgical training in Oxford. Awarded a Culyer Foundation Research grant, he wrote his thesis in biomechanics and biomaterials at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
After completing orthopaedic specialist training on the UCH rotation, London, he was awarded a RCS fellowship in spinal deformity & degenerative surgery at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals and a Neurosurgical Spinal Fellowship at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge.
His clinical and research interests include minimal access spinal surgery, adult deformity surgery and the biomechanics of lumbar fusion. One of his major passions is teaching and his commitments range from lecturing internationally to SpR training on several London teaching programmes.
