What if the stories and systems we are part of have been keeping us apart? A look at the global refugee crisis through the lens of our shared human experience. Lilian Simonsson’s call to action challenges common narratives. She highlights how now, more than ever, our individual choices shape our collective future, and can enable life-changing work and social change in our communities. Lilian Simonsson worked as an independent film maker across Europe for 15 years. After volunteering in the Calais Jungle from 2015-16, she co-founded Enthum House in the UK: Providing safe homes, 24/7 trauma-informed support, empowerment and cross-cultural integration for unaccompanied young people seeking asylum.
