Cardiology fellow Dr. Colby Salerno was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at just age 12. He got his first defibrillator at 14 to treat his hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and shares that he lived a mostly normal life. In college he learned he was going to need a heart transplant. Now he is 10 years post-transplant and he’s now on his path to becoming an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologist!
