Pellaeon watched as Carnor Jax’s Crimson Empire crumbled, and he regretted merging his own task force with High Admiral Teradoc’s fleet. Teradoc had become more interested in sacrificing the lives of loyal Imperial soldiers to other warlords in the Deep Core. A glimmer of hope emerged in Admiral Natasi Daala. She, too, had grown weary of the Empire’s infighting, and, with Pellaeon’s assistance, she poisoned all of the warlords.
