인도네시아 자카르타 인근 폭죽공장서 폭발사고…최소 47명 숨져
At least 47 people have been killed and dozens others injured in an explosion at a fireworks factory near the Indonesian capital of Jakarta.
Thursday's blast in Tangerang, an industrial and manufacturing hub to the west of the capital, is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault, although police said they were still investigating.
It was one of Indonesia's worst industrial disasters and is likely to cast a new spotlight on lax safety standards in the Southeast Asian country, where rules are often ignored or weakly enforced.
