Jeep Liberty KJ Rear Axle Swap Part 3 - Disconnecting rear drive shaft, removing seized brake rotor, removing hard brake line clips and emergency parking brake cables.

In this video, I continue the repair of my 2005 Jeep Liberty Renegade Rocky Mountain Edition 4x4. I start by disconnecting the bolts connecting the rear drive shaft (aka propeller shaft) using my Kobalt 24v Max Brushless 1/2-inch Impact Wrench. I support it with a jack stand. I then use my OTC Heavy Duty Brake Drum/Rotor Puller to remove a seized brake rotor. The hardest job is tackling the hard brake line clips which were badly rusted. I patiently used rust-penetrant spray and repeated tapping until the rust gave way to allowing the clips to be slipped off.

In the next video (4th video in the series), I'm ready to continue the process by removing the rear stabilizer bar, rear upper control arm, rear lower control arms and the rear shock absorbers. I'm uncertain how many more videos will be required to document removing the rear stabilizer bar, rear shocks, rear springs, parking brake cables, brake assemblies and components, upper-control arm and lower control arms. I'll also be documenting finding a proper donor vehicle rear axle assembly.
