Hello! Today, a recipe for soft potato dumplings (Silesian dumplings). They taste great with meat sauce, fried onions
or garnished with pieces of bacon fried in a pan.
Ingredients:
1kg cooked ground potatoes
200g potato starch
1 large egg
half a level teaspoon of salt
1 level tablespoon of salt for cooking dumplings in water
The ready-to-cook dumplings should be about 4 cm wide and 2 cm high.
Cook the dumplings over low heat. Cooking on too high heat will cause the dumplings to swell quickly and become too soft.
After the dumplings float to the surface, wait about two more minutes and remove from the water.
