Authorities in the UAE have observed an increase in the number of violations of Covid-19 precautionary measures after the night-time movement restrictions were lifted, a top official has said. This includes failure to wear masks, hosting gatherings and non-adherence to social distancing guidelines. Gatherings remain prohibited in all public and private places including homes, offices, farms and malls while family visits should be limited to first-degree family members only.
