Murten or Morat is a small Swiss town by the lake of the same name, with a beautiful old Town and a well preserved castle where you can even walk the ramparts. Like many Swiss towns with historic centers Murten has cobbled streets and colorful buildings with tiny stores and cafés. In the summer the lake is the meeting point, either to walk on it's shores, swim in it or just take a boar tour.
