In this video I use the formula velocity is distance divided by time. In actual fact the formula "v=d/t" should be "s=d/t". Speed is distance divided by time which a scalar quantity (that just means the direction is not specified). However as I was teaching this for Swedish pupils and they are used to using the symbol "s" as distance (sträcka, in Swedish)and the symbol "v" for speed. Therefore I have used the symbol "v" - here, so as not to confuse my pupils..... Velocity is also distance divided by time, however in velocity the direction of travel should be given, because velocity is a vector quantitiy where direction is given in the question
