D Dorian Mode: D E F G A B C (D) - Dm7 chords

G Mixolydian Mode: G A B C D E F (G) - G7 chords

D Dorian and G Mixolydian contains the same notes as C Major Scale!

You can also treat the A7 as a A7alt chord and use the A Altered Scale...

A Altered Scale: A Bb C C# Eb F G (A)

A Altered Scale is also known as A Super Locrian - and it's the 7th mode of the Bb Melodic Minor Scale.
