Dear Lord,

Good morning

And thank you for a brand new day,

I will rejoice and be glad in it

Because I am blessed and highly favoured

No weapon formed against me will prosper

I am beautifully and wonderfully made

I will be first and not last

Above only and not beneath

I am smart and will do good listening at school today

I pray that I get to school safely

And back home safely

May the angels protect me so that I do not fall

I will have fun and enjoy my day
