In this video, I dive into our journey of leaving the U.S. to start a new chapter in Europe. It began with a visit to Portugal, where we found inspiration in the culture and lifestyle, leading us to sell our home and most of our belongings to make the move. But after a couple of months there, our perspective shifted, and we ultimately decided to set roots in France. Finding the right region and our future home wasn’t quick or easy, but it led us to a place we love and where we’re setting new roots.

After more than a year, we’re still adapting to the many changes, challenges, and discoveries that come with such a major transition. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience but also a lot of work, with each step requiring patience and fortitude. This journey has taught us the realities of starting over, learning a new culture, and creating a home far from where we began. For anyone dreaming of making a similar leap, we hope this story offers insight, encouragement, and a look into what it truly takes to make it happen.
