France says the country has seen cyber attacks against some 19-thousand websites... since the string of terror attacks last week... that left a total of 20 people dead.
The French military′s head of cyberdefense says the strikes hit government and military sites as well as private businesses... and most were minor denial-of-service attacks.
Officials believe some were carried out by well-known Islamic hacker groups... such as the Middle East Cyber Army and Cyber Caliphate.
No major damage has been reported.//
Meanwhile, the body of a Frenchman beheaded by jihadists in September has been found in Algeria.
Herve Gourdel had been held hostage by the Caliphate Soldiers of Algeria, and was killed when Paris denied demands to halt air strikes against the Islamic State group.
