Today we're going to be taking a look at the Optronics Off-Road LED Light Bar. The LED light bar is going to deliver a bright, mixed beam, which is ideal for off-road driving. You're going to have your flood beam, which is great for seeing out in front of you and off to both sides. You're also going to have your spot beam, which is great for seeing at a distance. The unit's going to feature high-quality light output from 2 rows of 20 LEDs, so 40 LEDs total. The LEDs have a 200,000-hour lifespan. Optronics puts a lifetime warranty on those LEDs.
On the back side, the unit's going to feature these channeled fins. These are located on housing. They're going to let heat quickly dissipate to optimize the LED performance. The unit's going to feature a durable, water-resistant construction. It's going to feature a black powder-coated die-base aluminum housing that's rustproof. It's also a lightweight design, weighing in at under 5 pounds.
The unit's also going to feature tough, polycarbonate lens that's impact resistant. It's going to feature an IP65 rating for protection against dust and moisture. Pretty simple installation. It's going to come with these universal mounting feet. It's going to provide a nice, sturdy base, and they're going to come with some rubber padding on the feet. These can be installed directly under the feet.
That's going the help prevent scratching to the mounting surface. The unit does feature a 2-wire design. You're going to have a nice, thick wire casing and the two wires. Red wire is for power; black wire is for ground. You'll notice that the mounting hardware as well as the Allen key, that's all going to be included with this product. Again, the unit's going to contain a total of 40 diodes. When it comes to the wattage, we're looking at 120 watts.
That's 3 watts per LED with a power draw at 3 amps. This will work for 12-volt or 24-volt systems. The input voltage for this unit is 9-volt to 30-volt DC. Again, Optronics is going to put that lifetime warranty on their LEDs. When it comes to the output, it's going to feature an effective lumen output of 4,521 lumens with a raw lumen output of 7,500 lumens. A few measurements to go over with you with you real quick, and then we're going to hook it up to power so you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We're going to take some measurements of just the light bar itself. Starting with the overall length right there of just the bar, that's going to measure 21-1/4" long. Measuring the height, again just the bar, that's going to measure, it's just the bottom of my thumb right there, 3-1/16". Then the overall depth is going to measure 3-3/8" deep from front to back. Now when it comes to the overall dimensions including the feet, going edge-to-edge, measuring the length measurement, that's going to be giving us a measurement of about 24-1/2" long. Overall height is going to be about 4-1/2" tall. Again, the depth stays the same at 3-3/8". I do want to point out that the feet have these little teeth in it right here that line up with the grooves on the bar. That way you can adjust the feet to get the bar at the angle that you need for your application. Feet are going to be the same. These are going to give you a measurement, edge-to-edge this direction, of about 1-3/4". Going this direction, it's going to be about 1-1/4". That's how much room each foot's going to take up at the mounting location. Then the mount holes are going to be separated apart from one another on-center by about 23-3/4". Again, it does come with the hardware. These bolts are going to measure about 1-9/16" long from the bottom of the head to the end of the threads. They're going to have a diameter of around 1/4". We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power. That way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead lights, so you can see it in a lower-light setting. You can see here that sends out a very clear, consistent signal. Again, this unit's going to contain a total of 40 LEDs, and it's going to have the mixed beam. You're going to have your flood beams and your spot beams. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics Off-Road LED Light Bar.
