Actor Aseem Merchant has filed a complaint at the Colaba Police Station saying his white BMW X6 was stolen from Alibi, a swanky south Mumbai nightclub, in the early hours of Thursday. Merchant said that he reached the nightclub a little after midnight to attend Alibi's sixth anniversary, and to his “surprise“, the valet refused to issue him a tag for his car. Confirming the complaint, an officer from Colaba Police Station said, “We are recording the statement of two people named by the complainant but no arrest has been made. The car is yet to be traced." Oswald Almedia, manager of Alibi, told Mirror, “We are co-operating with the cops.We will run stringent checks on the contractors who handle the valet parking for us."
