In this video, we shall learn, how to use water testing kit, for water harness measurement.

Water testing kit come with, different reagents.

It’s very simple to measure hardness of water using water testing kit, we just have to follow instructions given inside
Water testing kit.

Following are steps, which I followed to measure hardness.

Step 1) Take 25ml. water in test jar, of which hardness is to be measured.
Step 2) Add 10 drops of regent B.
Step 3) Add few specs of regent A powder.
Step 4) Now add regent D5 with gentle shake after each drop, until colour changes from Pink to Blue.

And that’s it, hardness of water will be 5 times number of drops of D5, for me it’s 60drops of D5, so hardness is 300ppm (60*5)
