Karnataka Home Minister BS Bommai spoke exclusively to Mirror Now after the cabinet meeting saying that they will write to the Centre soon on banning SDPI and PFI outfits after several people, allegedly linked to the SDPI have been arrested for the violence last week.
The violence which began in Bengaluru later created a ruckus over almost the entire State of Karnataka. The riots killed 3 people while hundreds of others were severely injured. Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa had stated, ‘Our Government has decided to assess the damages caused to public and private property in the violent incidents in KG Halli and DG Halli, and recover the costs from the culprits’.
