This is the first time a Red LHB Express train its making its way to Mysuru as Bangalore - Mysore Dasara Special train sharing the idle rake of Kochuveli - Bangalore Daily Express. Enjoy the full journey compilation on the red Train hauled by a WAP7 on the scenic Mysore line with endless curves and gradients. The only 2 LHB trains that go to Mysore as of now are the Shatabdi Express between Chennai - Mysore and the Humsafar Express between Udaipur and Mysore. So this was some exciting news to make a travel on board the red LHB train between Bengaluru - Mysuru. It was a treat to the eyes to see this train standing on Platform 1 of Mysore Station towed to a WAP7. The Mysore line is now fully electrified and Double lined with almost all intermediate stations redeveloped with longer platforms and basic amenities for passengers. The line that once had a very rural look is now seeing a drastic development.

Passengers are requested to make use of this special train during the Dasara Festival. The train runs daily until 22 October 2018.
