This is a Red-billed pigeon (Patagioenas flavirostris). It is of the subspecies Patagioenas flavirostris minima which is found around the Gulf of Nicoya which I can see from my home. We see these almost every day and their songs can be heard at any and all times during the day. This species lives from South Texas to Costa Rica but is only found in their most northern areas during the summer months. These grow to between 12-15 inches (30-37 cm) and can weight between a half and one pound (230–425 g). These are one of the few pigeon species that don't have iridescent collar plumage that most pigeons do. These are from the order Columbiformes, family Columbidae, genus Patagioenas, species P. flavirostris and subspecies P.f. minima.
