WARREN COUNTY, Ohio (Perry Schaible) -- The family of a Dublin, Ohio man has been waiting for justice for 23 years. This day has been a long time coming for the family of Richard Woods. His body was found on a Warren County road in 1992, a month after he disappeared. Wednesday, his former wife and children have the opportunity to see his alleged killer in court. Police arrested Sam Perone, a business associate, last week. A grand jury indicted him on a murder charge. Perone will be arraigned in Warren County common pleas court. The case went cold after the murder. The new cold case team in warren county reopened it in 2006. Now, six years later, the former Sue Woods, now remarried, hopes to get some closure. She says it's hard to calculate everything Richard missed. "He got to go to one college graduation. We had four kids that graduated college. And not one grandchild's birth. Or any of the successes or non-successes. He missed out on all that of life," Sue said. This was a story first brought to you by Local 12's Deb Dixon.
