We demonstrate the steps necessary to replace the OEM plate with the AltRider skid plate on the BMW R1250GS. If you are going to take this adventure bike on an adventure and test some trails, you will need something more robust than the stock plate. Some patience, a few tools, and follow along to install this one piece unit that provides tire to tire protection and a peace of mind whether you ride a R1250GS or the new R1300GS.
