Cranial Osteopathy and Craniosacral Therapy techniques are often used to treat babies, but when you first learn to treat babies with these techniques it can be a suprise when even a very gentle technique isn't tolerated well by baby. Osteopaths or CST Practitioners in this situation may jump to the conclusion that their technique is poor but often that isn't the case, often it's because the baby is in 'shock' or even that they haven't really 'arrived' yet.
