Motor Raid (モーターレイド) is a 1997 racing title developed by Sega AM1 for the Model 2 board. It was sold to arcade operators as a conversion kit for Manx TT Superbike cabinets. The game features motorcycle combat similiar to that of Road Rash but expands upon the concept in a few unique ways. It also bears an '80s cyberpunk aesthetic reminscient of Akira or the monocycle races in Venus Wars. The first track, in particular, looks like something right out of Kawajiri's "The Running Man."
Depending on how well the player fares, he or she can race in up to four of six unique tracks. Finish first on Yendas, Juno, and Bowel and you'll unlock the secret "Segal" stage. Failing to finish first on Yendas results in the second race taking place on Ido. Failing to finish first on either Yendas or Juno results in Reef 8 being the final track.
