Using native Ableton Live instruments and effects to create a Custom Bell Pad Instrument Rack.

In this rather lengthy tutorial I walk you through making a custom instrument rack with devices native to Ableton Live. In the end we will have a soothing bell-type pad sound made by a single oscillator in Operator. That, together with some LFO modulation, EQing, and Reverb, we will get a beautiful pad that can be quite useful for many genres of music.

After making the first tutorial I continued to mess around with this instrument rack. I found that if we turn on a second oscillator to add a bit of white noise to the top of the pad it gives it a lot of character. Nothing to crazy, and we can get it done in a couple of minutes.
