This is a silent nature vlog captured in various serene locations, including Taman Jurong, Corporation Drive, Jurong Lake Garden, Yuan Ching Road, and Ho Ching Road, on September 1, 2023, from 5 to 6 PM. This recording took place shortly after Singapore's 9th Presidential Election polling day. It had been many years since my last visit to Taman Jurong, a place known for its friendly and endearing residents. I found myself missing the environment, especially the tranquil gardens and delectable cuisine. I also cherished the memory of the former MP Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who now serves as the President of Singapore.

The weather on this particular day was perfect for a leisurely stroll, with the timing aligning with a picturesque sunset, ensuring it wasn't uncomfortably hot. Moreover, the location was nestled near a serene lake. The initial segment of the video captures my leisurely walk from Corporation Drive to Jurong Lake Garden. However, to ensure I could capture every moment without worrying about my phone's storage capacity, I decided to switch to cycling. I rented a bicycle from ANYWHERE WHEELS for this purpose.

This video marks my inaugural attempt at cycling while recording, and fortunately, my tripod stand securely fastened to the bicycle prevented any mishaps. I apologize for my modest cycling skills, as I intentionally cycled at a slow and steady pace, maneuvering the rocky pavement to ensure steady footage. Occasionally, I paused the video to make adjustments to the tripod for optimal angles.

Within the garden, you'll encounter a vibrant tapestry of activities, from runners and dog walkers to cyclists, conversationalists, and skaters. This garden also boasts a thriving population of wildlife, including birds, squirrels, dogs, cats, monkeys, and turtles, creating an ambiance akin to a miniature zoo.
