Ilya Samsonov re-signed with the Toronto maple leafs at 1 year, 3.55 million dollars. This will cause a lot more issues as the maple leafs were already over the salary cap. Now after the signing, they sit at -12.5 million dollars. The Maple Leafs will be making a trade soon to fix this and there is no other way around it!
