Today we are going exploring here in New Hampshire.
Recently i had found a lost colonial homesite way out in this huge parcel of land . There was the remains of the foundation ( cellar hole ) old stone walls and when metal detecting it there was a lot or relics dug from the ground. So the area has me really curious as to what is way out beyond this one old farm and deep in the woods.
What i am going to do is walk along the old stone walls left here by the colonists in the 1700s and see where the go. Im pretty sure that what we are going to find is two big squares, old pastures built and fenced in by the farmers. It is a long hike through the woods and we will encounter hilly terrain, a river, cart patch and one are that really looks like it would have been the best spot for a colonial farm site.
