Mount Kailash is known as the Stairway to Heaven. Mount Kailash is the central point of cosmic creation. There are many mysteries associated with Kailash. Mount Kailash lies 22,000 ft from the Tibetan Plateau, and is largely inaccessible. Hindus, Buddhists and Jains worship the sacred mountain.
During the Kailash Mansarovar trek, one comes across several holy places. Out of these Saptarishi caves are the most prominent and they are situated on the Kailash inner Kora route. These caves are worshipped by Hindu and Buddhist devotees and are named after the seven ancient sages of Hindu culture. Their darshan is considered to be very auspicious.
