for rice-
golden rice 400gm
water 1600 ml
bay leaves(tezpat) 4-5
cinnamon stick(daalchini) 2
cloves(long) 2
green cardamom(hari elaichi) 2
cumin(zeera) 2 pinch
black cardamom(badi elaichi) 1
salt(namak) 1/2 tsp
oil/ghee 2 tbsp
For marination-
chicken 1 kg
salt(namak) 1 tsp
ginger paste(adrak ka paste) 1 tbsp
garlic paste(lehsun ka paste) 1 tbsp
dum biryani masala 2 tsp
lemon juice(nimbu ka ras) of 2 lemons
chopped green chillies(kati hui hari mirch) 5
red chilli powder(lal mirch powder) 1 tsp
turmeric powder(haldi) 1/4 tsp
mint leaves(pudina) 1 tbsp
coriander leaves(hara dhania) 1/2 fist
yogurt(dahi) 400 gm
garam masala 1 tsp
fried onions(tali hui pyaz) 1/4 fist
For layers-
some fried onions(tali hui pyaz)
some mint leaves(pudina)
some coriander leaves(hara dhania)
sliced lemon(kata nimbu) 1
chopped tomatoes(kate hue tamatar) 2
saffron strands & milk
food colour 2-3 pinch
garam masala 2-3 pinch
milk 50 ml
ghee/butter 4 tbsp
keora water/flower extract 2 tsp
