This was my first time in a UK Prison, the first place was HMP Hewell which is a category B jail, what i describe in this video is my personal experience of this system, i was sent by a very stupid magistrate from Telford in the united kingdom, these magistrates are deluded and cruel, but that is what is expected from a system where mostly untrained average fools have vast power. If you are going into this system make sure you take plenty of items with you on your court day because you will need little items that you take for granted outside.Keep your head down and do not try being the hardman.I was very respectful to all the men i met inside and the truth is,inside prison are some really nice people and some really bad people who like you made a mistake or just had a moment of madness.Sign up to all education and or work detail. I found the prison officers cool guys, only once did i dislike an officer, but he looked like he did not want to be in this job.If you have to face confrontation then minimal techniques work best, I study fighting , street fighting is different to martial arts more reality based, so I do like street self defence, keep your skills basic & simple, keep yourself toned, flexible with good cardio vascular fitness & always locked and loaded i trained very single day of my sentence in my cell like a crazy athlete, primed, ready aware.Later in my sentence i got transferred to The Grange which was category D, all i can say is in the Grange the men respect each person,as apposed to hewell which is like a sewer rat survival system, watch your environment,i never took one shower in the general population only body washed in my cell,i never walked often without my back facing the walls and never accept any free items,in the Grange it was different, there is no attitude because most realize this is the last point to freedom.Hello to all at the Grange.respect.
