The Band 12BBB mainly plays originals (!), real down to earth blues, written by supertandem Jan J. Scherpenzeel, alias J.J. Sharp (Lead Vocals&Harmonica) and Kees Dusink, (Lead&Slide guitar). They get their inspiration straight from the Chicagoblues.
Leaded by these guys the band impresses the audience and organizers with the high quality of their music and creation of the ultimate bluesfeel you only would expect to find in Chicago or New Orleans.
The 12BBB rhythm section is already worthwile to see playing on its own. Base player Patrick "Sideburn" Obrist, drummer “Wild” Marcel Bakker and rhythm guitarist Randy Pears together form the solid base of 12BBB.
They are really experienced and able to play any traditional bluesstyle as a real peace of art. This is exactly where the blues-lover comes for, such a groove that may never end and where you won’t get out of.
