DJI has just released its Firmware Update v1.00.0600. One of the fixes was to the time taken to acquire enough satellites to a level that doesn't restrict the aircraft altitude. Personally, I have never experienced too much of a delay - in this particular spot, I was seeing 3 minutes or so. And behind me are the Gold Coast high rise apartments which must affect satellite visibility somewhat. Anyway - seems to be a slight improvement for me.
