South Africa's minister of Trade and Industry has launched the first phase of the revitalised Industrial Park north of Pretoria. The $3 million project is part of the Revitalisation of Industrial Parks Programme of the department expected to create hundreds of jobs for the locals. South Africa is grappling with high a unemployment rate and the government believes projects like these will go a long way in alleviating joblessness among young people.
