In this week's "Sunday with Sarah," I answer a viewer question about the pentatonic scale: what it is, why it's important in Waldorf education, and what is meant by the "mood of the fifth."
The pentatonic scale makes it easy for children (and adults!) to make beautiful music of their own. I encourage you to bring a pentatonic instrument into your home! If you do, please let me know in the comments below how it goes.
