1. Larchmont, NY Dog Beach
Pro Tip:
- Make sure you check when the tide is low, because if you go here during high tide there won’t be much beach to hang out on.
- You’ll need to park in the neighborhood and walk over to the the beach. Just look for the country club and the dog beach is next to it.
2. Longport, NJ Dog Beach
Definitely worth checking out and it will make a great day trip.
Pro Tip:
- Get there early to secure a parking spot.
- Sometimes there are things washed up that you may not want your dog eating.
3. Mud Creek Dog Beach Patchogue, NY
Once you discover this place you’ll be making a trip here often.
Pro Tip:
- Bring a towel to wipe your dog down afterwards. The last time I came here I had to give my dogs a bath when we got home. But it’s ok, they had the time of their life. There is so much room to run here!
4. Edisto Beach South Carolina
Rent a beach house and spend a week relaxing on the beach with your furry friend.
Pro Tip:
- If you go during the off - season, many restaurants will be closed.
5. East Hampton, NY
Pro Tip:
Go during the off season and find a secluded beach access road like the Mako / Marine BLVD Lane Beach access in Amagansett, NY. You’ll need to park in the neighborhood, and check the signs to make sure you are allowed to park.
