1. Complete the Sale:
Ensure the sale is finalized by securely packaging the item and marking it as "shipped" within the Mercari app. Typically, you will get a few days window to ship the item after the sale.

2. Await Confirmation:
Once you have shipped the item, the buyer will receive it. They may require time to inspect the item and verify that it aligns with the description and expected condition.

3. Payment Processing:
Mercari retains the buyer's payment until they confirm receipt of the item as described. This confirmation process varies in duration and is dependent on the buyer.

4. Release of Funds:
Upon the buyer's confirmation of receiving the item as described, Mercari will release the funds to your Mercari account.
Mercari offers two payment methods: Instant Pay and Direct Deposit. Instant Pay is a quick and easy way to receive your payment, and it allows you to transfer your earnings to your debit card instantly. However, there is a $3 flat fee for each transaction. Direct deposit allows you to transfer your earnings to your bank account. However, it takes one to two business days to process.
To check your balance, go to your profile and select "Balance" at the top. Alternatively, you can access it through Settings - Balance.

5. Withdraw Funds:
You can then withdraw the funds to your linked account or use them for purchases within the Mercari platform.
