The Math.
Length of board (planed after first glue up) div / Total cut per row (inc allowance) = No of Pieces.
No of Pieces x height of board (planed after first glue up) = length of finished board.

All sizes below are based on a blade kerf of 3mm
Finished Board Size 400mm x 300mm x 40mm
Rough Sawn Timber length 650mm (min)
Pieces to cut 75, 25, 50, 30, 50, 25, 30, 25
Total cut size per row 46mm
Finished Board Size 450mm x 350mm x 50mm
Rough Sawn Timber Length 850mm (Min)
Pieces to cut 75, 25, 75, 50, 30, 50, 30, 25
Total cut size per row 56mm
Finished Board Size 350mm x 250mm x 35mm
Rough Sawn Timber Length 500mm (Min)
