The tree is established in its new container, had time to regain strength, and this ready for another more detailed styling. I can now remove more of the flaw in favor of new growth that I’ve nurtured. The bonsai pads are become more differentiated, smaller, and more branching on the main structural branches. As this tree grows vertically, it’s a constant battle with the motives of the tree. Overall this bonsai will be a more natural formal upright tree with a slight directional hint towards the left.
