Are cycling contracts worth anything? Maxim Van Gils is reportedly cutting ties with Lotto DSTNY mid-contract, despite signing an extension with the team just this past March. Rumour has it he’s heading to Red Bull Bora-Hansgrohe. The case is far from clear cut, but we're wondering, how are riders managing to break contracts so easily?
