Adlai E. Stevenson High School is a public school located in Lincolnshire, Illinois. It first opened on Sept. 7, 1965. The school is named for Adlai E. Stevenson II, a former Illinois governor, two-time presidential candidate, and United States ambassador to the United Nations.
Stevenson serves all or parts of 15 communities with its 42-square-mile district: Lincolnshire, Long Grove and Prairie View, and portions of Buffalo Grove, Deerfield, Hawthorn Woods, Indian Creek, Kildeer, Lake Forest, Lake Zurich, Mettawa, Mundelein, Palatine, Riverwoods, Vernon Hills and Wheeling. We have more than 4,300 students in attendance and 300 plus teachers who are determined to help students reach their full potential.
