Manish Sisodia finally gets bail in the Delhi liquor scam case! Former Delhi Deputy CM is set to walk free after spending 17 months in jail. He has been granted bail by the top court in both the Enforcement Directorate and CBI cases related to the alleged Delhi liquor scam. The Supreme Court stated that it would be a travesty of justice to relegate him to the trial court for seeking bail in these cases. The court directed Sisodia to furnish a bail bond of ₹10 lakh with two sureties, surrender his passport, and visit the police station twice a week on Monday and Thursday before the investigating officer. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) thanked the Supreme Court for granting bail to Sisodia and celebrated his release, saying Delhi's favorite education minister is back. However, the BJP mocked AAP's celebration, stating that the party is celebrating the release of an accused in the Delhi liquor scam.
