In this video we go over the Adidas AE 1 LOW:

First off, getting the right fit is nearly impossible based on my experience… Going true to size has a serious lockdown problem around the ankle, even half size down still has a lot of heel slippage. Sizing down further would also not make sense since other areas such as the toe box may be too snug. Cushion is a slight downgrade from the regular AE 1. Putting the high and low top together for a side-by-side comparison, the original version feels a lot softer and bouncier. Material wise, the Low’s are not as flexible and comfortable; traction: not as grippy / squeaky as before either, at least on this grey colorway. To make things worse, they also didn’t reduce the weight - size 10.5 still comes in at around a whooping 500g…
