This is the longest drive we’ve ever done in the car, having owned it for almost 3 years now. Mrs. e-Niro’s grandson was born just before Christmas. Her son and daughter-in-law live in Frankfurt so I guess it takes a new baby to prompt a trip like this. Normally we would have taken the train as Poitiers-Paris-Frankfurt is easy and much quicker but with Covid running riot and services being cancelled, not to mention having to wear a mask for hours on a train...we decided to give it a go in the e-Niro. Our first leg was 740 km to Metz for an overnight stay. ...and watch out for the pink gloves!
