New Zealand skydiver Brent Findlay performed the stunt that saw a 17-metre-long flag unfurled midway through the 18,000-feet jump into Eden Park. Findlay was greeted with a karanga and powhiri ceremony, the traditional Maori welcome, upon landing. The Women’s World Cup kicks off on 20 July, with co-hosts New Zealand taking on Norway at Eden Park.
