In a special train, Crown Prince Paul of Greece and members of the wedding party arrive in Athens and are heartily welcomed. George II of Greece and Duke Ernst August of Braunschweig (Father of the bride) review the honour formation. Amongst the guests are the Duke and Duchess of Kent and Crown Prince Michael of Rumania. Panorama shot of Athens with the Acropolis in the background. Orthodox Catholic Clergy enter Cathedral for Ceremony and wedding party begins to arrive: the bride Princess Frederika Luise of Brunswick, led by her father arrive in a gold carriage. The next carriage contains King George II of Greece escorting the mother of the bride, Duchess Victoria Luise of Brunswick. After the ceremony the bridal couple enter the golden carriage and the wedding party drives through the crowded streets of Athens, wildly acclaimed.
