The R&R HoF inducted Rascals band members are Dino Danelli, Eddie Brigati, Felix Cavaliere, and Gene Cornish. The Sixties blue-eyed soul group performed People Got To Be Free at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The Rascals (formerly known as The Young Rascals) joined other inductees in the Performers category in 1997.
The tolerance and freedom song People Got To Be Free spent five weeks at number one on the Billboard Pop Singles chart in 1968, the group's longest such stay.
