Innovation is described as the new and successful application of an invention, which increases performance or output. When applied to architecture, innovation can occur both in the product (buildings) and in the process (design and construction). This session will explore how innovation in architecture is not only about incorporating the latest technologies and materials, but also about exploring new processes of design and construction through multidisciplinary practice and experimentation.
